About Us

Murphy is located in Cherokee County, southwest of Asheville along highway 64/74 near Hiwassee Lake.  The area is known for whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, golf and mountain biking.  The nearby Great Smoky Mountains Railroad has excursions to Bryson City and Dillsboro.  The Nantahala National Forest and the Joyce Kilmer give visitors a scenic look at North Carolina, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is an excellent spot for outdoor adventure.  The Appalachian Trail is close by for those with hiking adventures in mind.

Our home was built in 1902 and lovingly restored from top to bottom in 2002.  Angels Landing Inn pampers you with hardwood floors, antique furniture, wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms and a 1913 clawfoot tub.  Old fashioned  southern living with a splash of Victorian charm best describes our spotless accommodations.

Angels Landing Inn lets you relax in a warm, friendly atmosphere where southern hospitality is a way of life.  Let us make your Smoky Mountain dreams come true!
